History
Since its inception in 1986, CECOS University has played a pivotal role in shaping the futures of more than twenty-two thousand students across various disciplines such as Business Studies, Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology.
The journey of CECOS University began in 1986 when Engr. Muhammad Tanveer Javed established CECOS Data Institute in Peshawar with just five computers and a handful of students. Over time, the institute became affiliated with Peshawar University, emerging as a leading college offering postgraduate programs in Computer Science, and also gained affiliation with the University of London for selective computer courses. Today, CECOS University boasts a student body of over three thousand individuals.
As this dynamic institution continues to evolve, it is poised to expand its academic offerings and leverage its expertise to support the educational growth of the younger generation. Through initiatives like The Edex School, CECOS University aims to revolutionize private schooling in Peshawar and beyond.
