Admissions

Admissions for the session 2024-25 are open in Pre-School, Level I to VII, and O/A Levels.

Selection Criteria

Edex adheres to an admissions policy founded on the principles of transparency and equity.

Pre-School

Preschool candidate will undergo assessment in the following areas:

  1. Hand-eye coordination
  2. Grip of crayon
  3. Recognition of Colors
  4. Recognition of Shapes
  5. Recognition of Numbers
  6. Recognition of Sounds
  7. Concentration span
  8. Spoken language (Urdu and English)

Primary/Middle Section

Test and Interview:

  • Written assessments in core subjects (English, Urdu, Mathematics) will be administered.
  • Following the written assessments, a formal interview with the child will be conducted in the presence of both parents.

Documents required for Admission

Following documents are required at the time of issuance of the  Admission Form

DayCare

  1. Union Council or Cantonment Board’s Birth Certificate (original or photocopy)
  2. Photocopy of Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
  3. Hospital Certificate (original or photocopy).
  4. Vaccination card (original or photocopy).
  5. Two passport-sized photographs of the child.
  6. One photograph of child with parents.

Nursery to Level VII

  1. Parents’ CNIC copy
  2. Two passport-sized photographs of the child.
  3. Photocopy of Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
  4. Photocopy of applicant’s Birth Certificate
  5. Photocopy of applicant’s Form “B”
  6. Progress Report of the last school attended
  7. Transfer Certificate from the last school

Terms & Conditions

  • The fundamental requirement for admission is to pass the admission test with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in the core subjects.
  • The determination of the Admission Committee is conclusive.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring they bring all required documents.
  • Parents are expected to adhere to the School’s rules and regulations.
  • The School retains the authority to verify the identity and personal details of individuals granted access to the School premises for security purposes.
  • Registration and other charges are nonrefundable, while the security fee is refundable with a one-month notice in advance.

Application Timeline

We suggest that you visit the branch after admissions are announced to meet our representatives and discuss your child's admission. You can register them and obtain the dates for the Admission Test during this visit.

When you visit for the Admission test, you will need to submit your application. Interviews will be conducted concurrently with the test.

Upon receiving of your application, it is forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review.

The Admissions Committee carefully reviews all applications, considering each one comprehensively.

We will endeavor to provide a decision on your application as promptly as we can. Applicants who are offered admission will be notified without delay.
